The New AI Footprint: Colocation in the Age of Massive Parallel Processing

September 13, 2023 – now watch on demand.

AI feels like magic, but behind the scenes, it relies on massive parallel processing - infrastructure that needs a home. The same is true for the data that feeds AI models. This reality comes down hard when an enterprise decides that certain work is not suited for the cloud. How do AI and high-performance computing play out in a colocated environment? Our discussion puts a fresh perspective on infrastructure in the age of AI, addressing the new pressures placed on computing, storage and networking as well as the significant sustainability challenge that comes with it.

The webinar features speakers from Lenovo, Nvidia and Digital Realty, moderated by 451 Research, S & P Global.

Speakers

Moderator – Craig Matsumoto, Senior Research Analyst, Distributed Edge Infrastructure, 451 Research
Speaker – Patrick Lastennet, Director, Business Development – Enterprise, Digital Realty
Speaker – Andreas Thomasch, Director HPC & AI, DACH, France, UK, Lenovo
Speaker - Tony Paikeday, Senior Director of AI systems, Nvidia
